Why is this shampoo bar leaving my hair sticky and dry?
This shampoo is recommended for dry hair. Best results are observed only after 5 to 6 washes, as the detoxification process, due to the earlier usage of chemical-based hair products, takes time.
How do I know if my hair is normal, dry or oily?
We can analyze the quality of the outermost layer, the cuticle. In general terms, it is common to speak of “cuticle porosity”. Porosity is the ability of each strand of hair to absorb and retain hydration or other substances. This porosity can be:
Low: Because the scales of the cuticle are closed.
Average: Because the scales of the cuticle are half-closed.
High: Because the scales of the cuticle are open.
Your hair will be dry if the porosity of your hair is high. It usually has a rough, dry and opaque appearance. The tips are open and fragile. When we put the hair under the tap, it absorbs the water right away but also loses it in the same way. It takes very little time to dry. It is a type of hair that is very prone to frizz. This type of hair is like this because it tries to capture the humidity it needs from the environment. This type of hair needs a lot of nutrition and also repair.

Does the product contain Sodium Hydroxide?
It contains Sodium Hydroxide (lye). When the chemical reaction of making soap, called saponification, is complete, the lye and oil molecules combine and chemically change into soap and glycerin. Since the soap is manufactured using safe practices, the lye is used up in the saponification process to turn oil into soap. There is no lye present in the finished bars of soap or shampoo. While all real soaps must be made with lye, no lye remains in our finished product after saponification.

Can we use shampoo every day to wash our hair?
It is not good to wash hair every day, even if a shampoo is 100% natural. Our shampoo bars are safe. However, having probiotics as part of the ingredients, and with most water being hard water in India, hair should be washed about 2-3 times per week.
Is the shampoo bar pH balanced?
All Probiotics products are pH balanced, as compared with chemical products.
Commercial soaps and shampoos have very alkaline pH values, above 10, and, hence, they are called toilet soaps, indicating that they are like detergent soaps. This is commonly found in low-priced soaps and shampoos. As the probiotic cultures are essentially acidic, it brings balance to the products with high pH.
