My home is filled with toys, it’s never quiet, my hair is usually a mess, make up is rare, my sleep is only 6 hours, and I’m mostly on my toes. I’m sure you would have guessed what I’m talking about. Babies! Toddlers! Children! Yes, the occasional insanity and a regular hilarity. We, as parents are constantly thinking of how to make our lives with the new arrival more memorable and cherish able.
We stumble on every Facebook page, Instagram photos, google to equip ourselves with abundance knowledge on parenting. This era of ours is a real boon that we get all the knowledge we need in our fingertips. As young parents we are on the watch out to make our lives a little bit easier with a baby on board. But in the bargain, are we actually missing out on the simplicity that our parents or grandparents had while bringing us up? With the hustle bustle in our daily lives we just want our life made easier; throw away diapers, feeding bottles, wet wipes, innumerable bottles of baby lotion and oil, cartons of formula, baby food… the list can go on. Let us take a minute and think about the amount of garbage we are contributing to this planet. Yes, I know what you are thinking, it is enormous and huge. Wake up! We have to make the switch if we want a healthier and lovelier planet for our bundle of joys.
Sustainable living is a conscious effort in making our lifestyle environmentally responsible. Sustainability has become extremely important due to the overuse of natural resources. We have to follow green practices, eco- friendly alternatives and sustainable living tools that will minimize our carbon footprint for a greener planet.
It is not easy to reshape our lives overnight. We want the best for our children so we never would want to take a risk. These are tried and tested techniques don’t wager says your mind, are we going to allow our mind to control or are we in control is up to us.
So, let me help you break this into smaller fragments. We shall take one at a time. There are a lot of fasteners bracketed as BABY! Introducing toddlers to drink from a glass in one such challenge. Sparkling and attractive. Reusable, eco-friendly, rust free, cost effective, and forget not to mention, it is travel friendly as it occupies very little space.It is also easy to clean ,you just rinse it with hot or cold water and you are through. The edges are rounded to ensure a scratch free and a safe experience to your darlings. Trust me, your baby will enjoy this experience. It is not about how it works but how we present. We, as young parents have to look out of the box and make clever switches to have a greener life.
